Precious Cargo: Ground Force Manages Showroom Relocation for Luxury Brand, Lalique

When Lalique, one of the most well known, luxury jewelry, perfumes, and interior design brand trusted Ground Force to move out the entire showroom on 5th Avenue, we were immensely flattered and ready for the challenge.

“The name Lalique evokes the brilliance of jewelry, the wonder of transparency, and the brilliance of crystal…” These phrases are not typically used when it involves trucking, moving, and rigging, but at Ground Force, transparency and brilliance are what we believe every company should strive to achieve. And, we take pride in doing just that for our customers on every project we take on.

As a full logistics provider with a fleet of its own assets, Ground Force continuously works to change the perception of our particular industry by giving our customers the highest level of service and professionalism possible. Just like there are high-end brands for consumer products… Ground Force considers itself a high-end brand of transportation and logistics.

When it came to Lalique, we were prepared to match their air of elegance as we handled the job and their assets with careful, calculated handling. In fact, the items that needed to be moved would need to be transported through the building’s 2nd story window. With this, Ground Force was determined to keep everything as safe and pristine as possible during this ultra white-glove move out.

We disassembled multiple fixtures and furniture pieces including crystal bed frames, glass podiums, dining tables, limited edition sofas with one-of-a-kind fabric and various decorative pieces. Then, we carefully transported the precious cargo to their new showroom location.

Ground Force was honored that Lalique entrusted us with this critical task, and we were also privileged to assist the Michael Kors team, located on the floor below, in their move while their store was being remodeled as well.
